Investigate paranormal crime scenes, where you must use your detective skills to look for clues and use magic to disable traps and solve crimes.
My Contributions:
Programming an interactive clue system, procedural clue and object placement, and interactions with different props in the environment
Lead level designer, creating the layout of the house and furniture/objects within it

The Challenge:
In our game, players have to find clues throughout the house. When developing we had a random, pre-determined monster that laid clues throughout the house. The correlated clues would be placed through the house in randomly throughout a large list of pre-determined locations, along with keys that were used to unlock doors and secret locations. I implemented simple interactions with doors, cabinets, drawers, etc. to make the environment interactable and engaging. Players could collect clues and I programmed the tracking system to show which clues had been discovered and which were still not found.
